Mix 5 drops Tamanu Oil into 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil (not coconut oil, it does not soak into the skin because the molecules are too big, and coconut oil will only sit on the barrier of the skin)
And to that 1/2 tsp of unscented Castile Soap
Then take 8 oz of water and empty the water into a bowl and heat it in the microwave-- warm, not too hot to touch.
While heating the water add the oil/Castile blend to an empty 8 oz bottle.
When the water has been heated accordingly add it to the 8 oz bottle.
Secure lid and GENTLY shake. Carefully vent bottle to release any pressure created while GENTLY shaking.

Put the baby in a bath, wet the area of concern quite thoroughly with the washcloth.

After 5 mins of soaking, pour some of this recipe into the bathwater (4oz or half of the 8oz bottle). It is fine if it gets on the other parts of the skin, it will nourish it and should keep it from getting irritated as well). Continue doing the same thing - putting the washcloth into the bath and place it mainly in the area of concern. The bath with the blend added should last about 15 minutes.

Do this in a bath or with just a washcloth out the bath for 3-4 times a day.

When ready to get out of the tub, simply blot the area with the same washcloth. Do not dry completely, allow the residual treatment water to air dry on the skin.

Be careful to avoid the eyes. This will help adults as well, in greater strength of oils. If this does not work or the baby gets little bumps they are sensitive to the olive oil - then use the same recipe without the olive oil using only the Tamanu & Castile.
