Bartholin cyst (Vaginal)

has a distinctly clean, fresh, woody aroma that's light and clear with a hint of spice. Reminiscent of pine and juniper berry the oil is distilled from the leaves (needles) and cones of the column shaped, evergreen Cypress tree from the Mediterranean region of Europe, primarily produced in France and Spain.

A hemostat and decongestant Cypress oil has the most powerful astringent action in aromatherapy. Cypress oil's astringent properties make it effective for promoting lymph and blood circulation.

CAUTIONS: Skin sensitization if oxidized, recommend refrigeration.

The aroma is sweet, fresh, fruity and light. The Mediterranean climate and Italian soil produce Lemon oil which has a superior scent. For quality of aroma lemon essential oil is obtained by cold pressing the fresh peel. This essential oil has a tart and tangy, scintillating clean lemon scent and smells just like the freshly grated peel. As Lemon oil comes from the fresh peel it should be obtained exclusively from organically grown fruits that are pesticide-free.

An anti-spasmodic Lemon oil may be effective for relieving painful conditions resulting from swelling and enlargement of tissues as may occur with a Bartholin gland cyst.

Preparation:

To a 5ml (100 drops) dark glass dropper bottle add the following pure essential oils.

  • Cypress - 50 drops

  • Lemon - 50 drops

Cap bottle tightly and shake vigorously to blend your oils. Allow your blend of oils to synergize for eight or more hours before using.

Directions

Add 3-4 drops Bartholin cyst formula in 1 Tablespoon unscented, natural bath gel/liquid soap or, Castile liquid soap and blend together thoroughly.

Add your liquid soap, scented with essential oils, into 1 cup of Epsom or sea salts (detoxifier, relaxant). Blend salts and scented soap together.

Optional: Substitute 1/2 cup baking soda (skin softener) for the salt.

Add salt mixture to a warm sitz bath. A sitz bath works best for concentrating the soothing relief of the formula at the area of the Bartholin cyst.

If you use a bath tub you will need to increase the amount of Bartholin cyst formula you use. Women have reported getting much better results when using a sitz bath for their soaks.

The waters should feel very warm and soothing, but not hot. Soak for 15 minutes or longer. May repeat your sitz bath every 2-3 hours. Most women report soothing relief and cysts naturally draining after 3-4 days though it can take longer.

Be sure to hydrate with pure, fresh water and perhaps a slice of lemon during and after your sitz bath. Take time to relax and rest afterwards.
